1. Tomato Face Mask: A Simple Remedy for Glowing Skin
The simplest way to use a tomato is to cut it in half and rub all over your face and neck.
With slow circular motions, gently rub the tomato on to your cheeks, chin, forehead, nose area and also don not forget your neck. Leave tomato on for 10-15 minutes then rinse with warm water. Follow with a moisturizer. You can also use to the few drop of almond oil or argan oil to moisturise your face. To restore and maintain beautiful skin, repeat this treatment twice a week.
You can use this mask if you have normal, oily and combination skin.
2. Tomato-Sugar Exfoliating Mask
Another great way to use tomato is with sugar. This is especially useful if your skin is oily, dull with whiteheads/blackheads
Sugar is rich in alpha hydroxy acids (or AHAs) which have a renewing effect on the skin. Together with tomato, it is helps to the exfoliate the outer dead layer of the skin, revealing the inner smoother layer. With regular use, you will see to the reduction in blackheads/whiteheads. Also, it will brighten your skin and restore a smooth complexion.
You will need:
1 tomato halved
½ teaspoon fine cane sugar
Evenly coat the tomato with sugar. Using slow circular motion and gently exfoliate your face – your cheeks, chin, forehead, nose and neck. Leave it on the for 10-15 minutes, then rinse with warm water. Use once a week.

3. Tomato and Cucumber Mask
Cucumbers are pretty amazing for skin. They are a good source of the silica which helps to firm up of the sagging skin as well improve complexion. Cucumbers also do a great job of soothing skin irritations, reducing puffiness and balancing our skin’s pH.
Together, tomato and cucumber make a fantastic face mask. You can use this mask if you want an even complexion, and a soft, smooth, flawless skin.
You will need:
1/2 ripe tomato
1 teaspoon almond oil (optional, use for dry skin)
Blend the tomato or cucumber till you get a smooth puree. You can also use a grater to make the pulp (see above picture).
Apply little by little and gently massage your face in circular motion. And don’t forget to apply on your neck. Let it soak in for 15-20 minutes, then rinse to off.
Repeat 1-2 times a week.
4. Tomato-Clay Mask for Acne and Oily Skin
This mask is ideal for those with acne, oily skin, combination skin and also if your face needs freshening up. You can use any clay you like, I prefer fullers earth and bentonite clay. The good thing about clay is that it helps to the lift impurities from deepest layers of your skin, leaving it soft and clear and rejuvenated.
This mask will heal your acne, fade scars, shrink large pores and make your oily skin normal and balanced.
First make a tomato puree. You can either grate the tomato using a grater and blend it in a blender. Next, combine the fullers earth with tomato puree to the make a smooth paste. Add more tomato pulp if needed.
Apply evenly on your face and neck and let it sit for 15 minutes. Wash it off to with water.
Use 1-2 times a week.
*If you are using cucumber and mint leaves, blend in a blender with tomato to a smooth paste. Then add fullers earth.

Apply little by little and gently massage your face in an upward direction. Let it sit for 15-20 minutes, then rinse off.
